Operation Guide for OBDSTAR RFID Adapter

                Howto Connect

                  interface1: connect to RFID adapter

                  interface2: connect to X300 PRO or DP tablet VCI box

                  interface3: connect with OBD16 connector, then connect to OBD diagnose interface on the car

                Attention：

                  Please update the RFID adapter to the latest version before operation.

                  Take DP tablet series for example, the update process is as follow:

 Step 1:

1. Remove the TF card from your device.

2. Insert your TF card into computer.

3. Format your TF card and ensure it is empty.

Step 2:

Login our website: http://member.obdstar.com/MemberEn/Register.html ; and click “A Key upgrade”

Step 3:

Download and install the “One Key upgrade”. You will see this software.

Step 4:

Open the “one key upgrade”. Input your username and password. Then select “End User” and click “Log in”.

Step 5:

Input your S/N.

Step 6:

Select all and click “Upgrade”.

Step 7:

Upgrade is completed.

Step 8:

Open your TF card. You will see these files.

Step 9:

Remove the TF card from the computer. Insert your TF card into the device.

Connect your VCI with the main cable and the 12V power as follows:

Turn on tablet and connect with VCI

Situation1--- In general, it will connect with VCI automatically after turning on the tablet as follows:

Situation2---If your tablet didn’t connect with VCI automatically, please operate as follows:

Click “setting”—Enter “Bluetooth”—Click the Bluetooth name of VCI to connec

Enter ”DP”—Enter “Setting”—Begin to register—Fill in the registration information—Register succeddfully
